MEET OUR TRAINERS

Raf
RafOwner Head Trainer(Wod programmer)
Raf is the technique drill sergent and movement specialist at the box. Raf loves to learn and to pass his knowledge onto others he is very thorough and has experience with rehab exercise. Raf has been a trainer since 2005 before this we played state basketball, state running, amature boxer and enjoyed his weight training. Raf discovered Crossfit and completed his certificate in 2008 he really enjoys the Olympic lifting, his favourite workout is Grace and Cindy. Raf also lectures for WAFA and holds Kettlebell workshops. A highlight of his training career was training with Steve, Cotter, Ido Portal and Dmitry Klokov
NICOLA HIBBERT
NICOLA HIBBERTNicola – Owner Manager (cardio queen and organiser)
Nic has always had a passion for being fit, her passions include running and lifting weights. She has been involved with team sports like netball and soccer indoor and out from a young age and then discovered weight training which she instantly enjoyed the feeling of being strong and getting stronger, she completed her Certificate 4 in Fitness in 2002 and has been in the industry since then. 2006 her and Raf opened Get Fit in Wanneroo a personal training studio that has won many awards and many members that have been there since day 1 this was their first fitness family and now they are excited to expand the family to West Perth as well. Nic loves the rewards of showing people what they are capable off and taking part in fitness events Nic loves her running and enjoys triathlons and has competed in many events her favourite being the Blackwood Marathon. She also competed in fitness figure comps for five years and came 4th at the world championships but then needed a change and found Crossfit Crossfit is her new passion and she loves the intensity and way it makes you do movements that you should be doing all the time. And makes you huffy puffy. She has had to work hard to undo old body building techniques to learn the Olympic lifts but is loving it. She completed her Crossfit course in 2007 and is so excited to share the awesome feeling Crossfit gives you. Her favourite workout is anything cardio and her goal is to make her overhead squat really pretty and get her muscle up!! A highlight of her training career was training with Ido Portal and Dmitry Klokov Nic is also currently studying yoga.
MATT
MATTPersonal Trainer
Mat has a 15 year background in sports and fitness, he holds a Bachelor of Science, a Certificate 3 in Fitness, a Level 1 CrossFit coach accreditation and a Level 1 I ice-skating coach accreditation. Mat would love to bring his enthusiasm and passion for fitness, movement and outdoors to you! The early years of sport his life he was involved racing BMX in the 80’s before moving into competitive figure ice-skating and upon graduating University began racing mountain bikes, rock climbing and surfing. In my early 30’s I began using CrossFit as a training tool, to increase my competitive edge racing bikes. Before too long he enjoyed CrossFit in its own right and now enjoy competing in local CrossFit competitions. A highlight of his training career was training with, Ido Portal and Dmitry Klokov
DANIEL
DANIEL Personal Trainer
Dan (Our taste of Britain) – Dans passion for fitness started when he was younger. At 17 he began training and eventually competing in MMA at a semi pro level winning 3 fights until an injury forced him to stop. The injury only caused him to seek other ways to keep fit and this led to his interest in strength and bodybuilding which gave him an opportunity to strengthen and rebuild his injured knee. Eventually Dan decided to pass his love and knowledge of fitness on and obtained his cert 3/4 in PT at WAFA in 2013 where he met coach Raf. After a year working as a PT at Jetts Fitness he came to Inner City, discovered Crossfit and was instantly hooked. His passion grows with his knowledge day by day, lift by lift and training others remains close to his heart. He is eagerly awaiting beginning a competitive year in Crossfit along with returning to his MMA roots in 2015 and beyond. Favorite WOD = Linda

FRAN
FRANPersonal Trainer
Fran has always had a passion for anything fitness, and had an active, sporting childhood. She became addicted to resistance training and endless cardio group classes after the birth of her now teenage daughters and has never looked back. Later discovering her love of running and competing in many competitions and knocking off two half-marathon’s since her 40th. Fran recently completed her cert 4 in fitness in September following her dreams to share her passion and enthusiasm with others and to help others also find the many rewards living fit and healthy offers. Fran loves to motivate, encourage and inspire all her clients to reach their potential and being the oldest team member, has a lot of life experience and compassion to back her up. She is strict on safety and technique however she won’t let you back down until you have given it 110%. Her plans are to increase her knowledge and training tenfold and become an A1 cross fit coach and athlete, provide quality service, sound advice and unstoppable support to the cross fit community. Fran looks forward to competing in the cross fit Masters in January and of course her favourite WOD is Fran.
CODEY
CODEY Personal Trainer
Codey (our strong guy) Codey has always had an interest in training and comes from a power lifting background. He has a great capability of training people to push that little harder and surprise themselves with what they can do. Codey has worked with Nic and Raf in their Wanneroo gym and still does but is really excited to work at Get Fit Central where he can lift heavier and do new things. Codey has taken really well to CrossFit and is a great instructor. His favourite CrossFit workout is Linda.
